Services

Among the range of reasons that people begin therapy, there seems to be a common thread: people often want to improve some aspect of their emotional and mental health. We are here to help you access and process difficult emotions, build a clearer narrative, and pay attention to patterns to make meaning of current challenges.

Individual Therapy

Therapy is a place to explore your own mind, make meaning of your patterns, and reflect on you experiences in the world. Our therapists will work with you to build a safe and supportive space where you can gain insight, reflect, and move toward healing. The most important predictor of success in therapy is the strength of the clinical relationship itself- we are seeking to make our space one where you can show up as your whole authentic self, where we can fully connect to help you through.

Child & Teen Therapy

We provide comprehensive care and support for young people starting at age 3 through the childhood, tween, teen years and beyond! Our therapists each have backgrounds in child development and play therapy interventions, along with creative therapeutic approaches to build trust and connection with tweens and teens. We provide affirming, expansive, child-led identity support without pushing any pace or diagnosis. We are happy to be collaborative with families, schools, and treatment teams, all while respecting confidentiality laws and ethical practice. Our clinicians will talk families through the process of informed consent during intake.

Gender Affirming Care/Letters

We acknowledge that we are working within a system that disempowers trans and nonbinary clients from seeking medically necessary and life altering care, and places us in a role of gatekeeper. We follow an informed consent model and will attempt to reduce barriers to care by keeping conversations collaborative. We will follow all WPATH standards and can often offer letters within one assessment session.

Relationship Therapy

We can support all types of relationships in their hopes of increasing understanding, building bridges to healthier communication, and furthering connection toward shared goals.

Couples Therapy

Our therapists can help couples identify patterns, reflect on long-standing relationship conflicts, and find clarity in communication. We are experienced in working with ENM relationships, polycules, and folks in diverse relationship structures.

Family Therapy

Neighborhood Therapy Group clinicians offer recurring (seasonal or as-needed) parental support sessions as a part of our individual work with youth. We can also offer ongoing family therapy, where we address challenges in the family system as a whole.

Parents of LGBTQ+ Youth

We are always here to support loved ones as they seek to support their children through emerging identity exploration. Therapy is the perfect place to bring parental emotions, concerns, and processes as they relate to their child’s journey. Our clinicians can offer evidence-hibased information, community connection and resources, as well as with therapeutic support along the way.

Group Therapy

Groups can be a safe and comforting space to find community, reflect on shared experiences, and connect with others. Our therapists offer groups that include therapeutic processing, peer support, and psychoeducation toward skill building. Check with us to see what groups are up and running soon!

Clinical Supervision

We offer clinical supervision to pre-licensed individuals working toward full clinical licensure in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We also love to support fully licensed clinicians hoping to consult with us on LGBTQ+ cases for consultation. Get in touch for more information on working with us!

Training & Consultation

We are passionate about spreading awareness, education, and support to the LGBTQ+ community through consultations, events, workshops, and speaking engagements.

Our clinicians regularly participate in speaking engagements at conferences, universities, healthcare agencies, and community organizations. We also offer consultation and training focused on topics related to mental health, gender identity, and LGBTQ+ affirming practice.

Rachel is a trained sex educator and social worker that has also taught comprehensive sexuality education to high schoolers and college students as a semester long elective class, in a weekend retreat format, and as a guest lecturer.

If you or your organization might benefit from consultation, speaking services, or training, let’s discuss how we can meet those needs.
